Day three - a very cultural day ;-)

On day 3 we had time to remind our names - it wasn't easy with almost 40 participants on the exchange! ;-) We continued also team-building games... just for a while we had to move to an island and create all the rules, norms, jobs for citizens, etc. We could develop our creativity! It was fun! 

In the afternoon we started workshops about culture. We learnt a lot about culture and stereotypes what prepared us for the first intercultural evening of the project. We ended the day with the Czech night... we enjoyed it a lot, not only because we learnt a song in Czech language (that we will remember for a long long time!) ;-)

Day two - getting to know each other and team-building games

The second day is always the most interesting and exciting day of the whole project, because we get to know other people, we learn how to work with them and which interests we share. Today we started with games aimed to learn each other names, later we made a short self-presentation and a timeline of important dates for us. In the evening we created a contract and we shared our fears and expectations about the exchange. After workshops we were very tired but we had energy to continue the ice-breaking part till late afternoon :-)

Everybody's here! Let's start our journey!

We arrived safely on the place and ate a good dinner. Every hour there were coming new people... We were welcomed by the Association and we got the infopacks with the schedule for the next day. We met the other participants but we are looking forward to work with them tomorrow! 

We are tired but excited about the rest of the project!!! Stay tuned ;-)

Day one - "Dear participants, we are waiting for you!" :-)

Today is the first day of our project! We are looking forward to meet the participants from Latvia, Italy, Hungary and Czech Republic! Meeting point is set, arrival times are known... now we hope that the airports will work properly and our guests will arrive safely!

Welcome!

We are starting soon!!! On the 6th of November we are starting a youth exchange called 

"Equality - in the life & at work"

We will host participants from Hungary, Latvia, Czech Republic and Italy. The main aim of the project is to develop enterprise and initiative among young people throughout promoting attitude of tolerance, openness and anti-discrimination activities, both in everyday life and on labor market.

We are looking forward to start workshops!
